Nov. 6--More than 24,000 tonnes of fruit from China worth 507 million baht have flooded into Thailand in the first month since the start of a bilateral free trade area (FTA) agreement for fruit and vegetables on Oct 1.
The figures are up markedly from the 13,247 tonnes of fruit worth 428 million baht that Thailand imported from China from January to September.
However, Thailand has not had similar success with exports of its produce to China.
