Dec. 5--The government is moving to protect the rights of airline passengers, particularly those using fledgling low-cost airlines, according to Deputy Transport Minister Wichet Kasemthongsri.
At the same time, it is abolishing regulated minimum fares.
The Aviation Department is expected to finish drafting a ministerial regulation next week. Mr Wichet said it was a response to complaints from some passengers using low-cost airlines.
