Thailand Phone Operator Set for 2 Billion Baht Expansion.

Dec. 4--TT&T Plc plans to invest about two billion baht next year in a strategic shift to diversify beyond fixed-line telephone operations into a variety of data communication services.
The provincial fixed-line telephone operator is also looking for a strategic partner to help fund new businesses with good potential and create synergy. Talks are now under way with several prospective investors, both local and foreign.
