Dec. 3--Thailand's tourism industry will boom next year with international arrivals likely to leap 20 percent as the strong economy spurs healthy growth for many other business sectors, industry leaders say.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently revised its forecast of growth in tourist arrivals next year to 20 percent, up from the previous projection of 13.48 percent, said Supaporn Prajumpai, director of the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA).
