Dec. 3--The CP Group has signed an account-trade agreement with Shaanxi provincial authorities, who will select Chinese trade partners for the Thai agribusiness conglomerate.
Under the agreement, CP will export 2,300 tonnes of fresh fruit to China from now to the first quarter of next year in exchange for 15,000 tonnes of fruit from Shaanxi.
Thai fruits covered in the pact are pomeloes, longan, mangosteen, mango and durian. China will send apples, pears, kiwi fruit, red jujubes and lington pomegranates in exchange.
