Dec. 1--TOT Corporation plans to target 10 countries with heavy traffic flow when it launches an international call service next year.

The company has already submitted its proposal for the service to Information and Communications Minister Dr Surapong Suebwonglee, who hinted earlier that TOT needs to offer this type of service to stay competitive. It expects to generate 11 billion baht from overseas calls alone in 2006.

The 10 countries with heaviest outbound traffic are Japan (45.5 million minutes), United States (34.5), Singapore (29.9), China (29.8), Taiwan (19.8), Australia (17.3), Hong Kong (17.1), United ...
