Dec. 1--Samsung Electronics Co has restructured its business portfolio to be more attuned with changing demand as it aims to be the top consumer electronics brand by 2010.
The company is now divided into four strategic categories: Digital Home Network, Digital Office Network, Digital Mobile Network and Digital Component Network.
"Samsung will continue to create solutions to enrich consumers," said the vice chairman and chif executive officer Jong-Yong Jun at the annual global gathering of Samsung's executives, distributors and vendors at its Digital Inspiration 2003 event at Istanbul, Turkey.
