Dec. 1--The Customs Department will invest nearly 100 million baht to install closed-circuit television systems at 52 customs checkpoints nationwide under an anti-corruption campaign.
Chavalit Sethameteekul, customs director-general, said the monitoring systems would be used 24-hours per day, with video and audio feeds sent from each station to a central monitoring office at the department.
