Dec. 8--DTAC, the country's second-ranked cellular operator in terms of size, has long positioned itself as first when it comes to innovation, and next year will be no different, company executives say.

"We are undergoing a restructuring now of our new corporate model for 2004, by combining Ucom's fixed-line broadband multimedia and DTAC's mobile phone resources to strengthen commercial operations and create innovative digital convergence services, targetting corporate users," said co-chief-executive Sigve Brekke.
