Dec. 8--Thai-Canadian Asia Pacific Potash Corporation (APPC), the developer of the Udon Thani potash deposits, has asked for another three years to undertake exploration work in the Udon North tract under a concession agreement held with the Thai government, according to an industry source.
Two large high-grade potash tracts, Udon North and Udon South, are being developed.
At Udon South, the exploration work has been finished and discovered about 302 million tonnes of potash.
