Dec. 6--The National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) is set to propose a 200-billion baht water development project to Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra soon.
If the proposal was approved, the project could be started in the current fiscal year that began on Oct 1, said Chakramon Phasukvanich, the NESDB secretary-general.
The project was initiated following a request from the prime minister, who wanted the agency to map out plans for the government to supply a sufficient amount of water to all Thais.
