Richmond, Va., Airport to Promote New Service to Miami.

Dec. 17--Richmond International Airport is preparing a marketing and advertising push for a new round-trip service to Miami.
"We will be promoting it," airport President and Chief Executive Officer Jon Mathiasen said yesterday at a meeting of the Capital Region Airport Commission.
American Airlines' regional affiliate, American Eagle, will start daily, nonstop service between Richmond and Miami on Jan. 6. Several airport commissioners who had read a news report about the Florida service asked Mathiasen and his staff about promoting it before the winter cruise season begins in the Caribbean.
