Firm Has New Gas Production on Cook Inlet, Alaska's West Side.
Dec. 22--Aurora Gas LLC announced results from new onshore gas wells on Cook Inlet's west side. The company said that a new well on the south end of its small Nicholai Creek field started production and is flowing at 4 million cubic feet per day.
This brings Aurora's total gas production to 10 million cubic feet per day, according to company president Scott Pfoff. The company is selling its gas to Enstar Natural Gas Co.
Aurora also announced results from a successful recompletion of an old oil exploration well in the undeveloped Moqauwkie gas field. The well flowed at a sustained rate of 7.6 million cubic feet per day.
