Dec. 18--FBI agents searched the home of a former executive of Charles Kushner's real estate firm Wednesday, as well as the office of an accounting firm that has done work for Kushner, Governor McGreevey's chief campaign donor, officials said.

Agents acting on a search warrant arrived at the North Caldwell home of Marci Plotkin, the former chief financial officer of the Kushner Cos., shortly after 7:30 a.m., two sources close to the investigation said.

At the same time, another team searched a Roseland accounting firm, Schonbraun Safris McCann Bekritsky & Co., where Plotkin is listed as a partner, the sources said.

Steven Kodak, a spokesman for the FBI's Newark office, confirmed that agents were searching two locations Wednesday, but declined to elaborate on the nature of the probe.
