Jul. 17--WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Big Time Restaurant Group has no time left for Clematis Street.

The West Palm Beach-based restaurant company has sold its two oldest restaurants: the Big City Tavern on Clematis, which will be converted into a French bistro, and the John Bull English Pub in the Village Commons shopping center off Village Boulevard.

Todd Herbst, co-owner of Big Time Restaurant Group, said the company is moving in the direction of larger, higher-profile restaurants. It plans to open two others next year in Palm Beach Gardens and Coral Gables.
