LONDON _ Forget the war with Iraq, the spat with the French, global warming and the upcoming Wimbledon tournament _ the only thing on most Britons' minds now is the fate of sexy soccer star David Beckham, arguably the most popular man in Britain.
Beckham, the husband of former Spice Girl Victoria Adams and a fashion trendsetter in his own right, appears likely to be traded from the powerhouse Manchester United team, an English institution, to a rival in Spain or Italy.
