Larry Klayman, formerly with the Judicial Watch organization, is now a candidate for the U.S. Senate here in Florida. A recent release issued by the "Klayman for U.S. Senate" committee shows unmistakably that he is no true friend of U.S. sovereignty. It promises that, if elected, Mr. Klayman will "work non-stop to have Miami selected as the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Free Trade Area of the Americas."
The release then professes his support for NAFTA and other free-trade pacts that he claims "help the U.S. economy and protect and promote American jobs." Finally, this same vote-for-Klayman document assures readers that he will "protect the recently passed Trade Promotion Authority vested in the President." I agree with THE NEW AMERICAN that the FTAA, NAFTA and several other trade pacts have accelerated the flight of jobs, opened wider our borders for illegal immigrants, and diluted America's sovereignty.
