Jul. 5--GETTING CULTURES TO WORK TOGETHER: Recently, I gave a speech on cross-cultural tips for members of the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Belgium-Luxembourg-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
After my introduction, I showed a six-minute scene from the comedy Mr Bean, an annoying excerpt showing five characters acting in different ways. The participants were assigned to answer two questions individually. The first question was, "Who is the person that you like most and the reason?" The second question was, "Who is the person that you dislike most and the reason?"
I received responses from eight people, which led to my point that we all may look more or less alike on the outside, but inside we see the world ...
