Jul. 5--Thailand Post has put in a good performance since breaking away from the Communications Authority of Thailand, posting a profit of 472 million baht for the months of March and April.
Last year, the operation recorded a loss of 3.64 billion baht.
Anusra Jitmitraparp, Thailand Post's executive vice-president, said the strong performance in March and April had enabled the company to move forward with its target to be self-sufficient by 2006, two years ahead of schedule.
