Jul. 7--TAMPA, Fla. -- WestJet, Canada's second-largest airline, will offer four-day-a-week service between Toronto and Tampa International Airport beginning Oct. 31 as part of the low-cost airline's broader U.S. expansion.
WestJet will compete with Air Canada on nonstop flights to and from Tampa and between Canada and other U.S. destinations including New York's LaGuardia airport, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. The New York schedules begin Sept. 20.
