Thailand's Saha Group adjusting to free trade.

Jul. 3--With free trade area (FTA) agreements between Thailand and several other markets coming into effect soon, the Saha Group is adjusting its strategy to be more competitive as more international players enter the local market to tap reduced tariffs.
The country's leading consumer products conglomerate, with nearly 300 companies, expects that garment and footwear operators would face stiff competition from new rivals, especially those from low-cost China and India.
