2004 JUL 7 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Biomira, Inc., (BIOM) and Merck, KGaA, of Darmstadt, Germany, announced that development and commercialization rights to the therapeutic cancer vaccine, Theratope, will be returned to Biomira.
The decision does not impact Merck's and Biomira's on-going collaboration to develop BLP25 Liposome Vaccine (L-BLP25) that the companies are investigating for non-small cell lung cancer.
