O2 is tapping the retro arcade games market with an online campaign to promote the mobile service provider's 500 free text package.

The ad, created by Agency Republic, is based on the game Pac-Man. Players are challenged to give their 'texting thumb' a work-out and guide a mobile phone around the maze, eating as many text messages as they can.

The game will be posted on a range of youth-oriented and e-commerce sites and will drive users to the O2 ...
