TBWA\London won the Film Grand Prix at this year's Cannes International Advertising Festival for its 'mountain' ad for Sony PlayStation.
The spot, written by Tony McTear and art directed by Paula Marcantonio and McTear, was directed by Gorgeous' Frank Budgen. It has yet to run in mainland Britain.
The ad also received a special award for excellence for its music: Shirley Temple's Get on Board.
Meanwhile, TBWA\Paris was named agency of the year for the second consecutive year. DDB London, which won the Grand Prix in the Press category, came second.
Overall, it was a strong year for the UK. Wieden & Kennedy received a gold Lion for Honda 'everyday' and a silver for 'sense', while Mother took gold for its Orange campaign to tell cinema-goers to switch off their mobiles.
