Ewan Paterson, the joint creative director of DDB, is leaving the agency to join Bartle Bogle Hegarty in a move that will see Jeremy Craigen take sole command of DDB's creative department.
Similarly, the joint planning director Lucy Jamieson will take over the planning department following the departure of her partner, Richard Butterworth.
Butterworth will pursue interests outside of the advertising industry. He has been at DDB for 12 years.
Paterson, who will join BBH as a creative director later this month, has worked at DDB since 1995. As the joint creative directors since May 2002, Paterson and Craigen have led their department to some notable awards victories, most recently the Press Grand Prix in Cannes for its 'cops' ad for Volkswagen .
