Jul. 2--True Corporation yesterday introduced six high-speed Internet packages with the cheapest at just 590 baht a month for 256/128 kilobits per second speed, five times faster than a standard dial-up connection, and unlimited local and international access.

The company expects the new services to help it triple its broadband Internet subscriber base to 150,000 users.

True is the local market leader in high-speed Internet access with more than an 80 percent market share. The six new packages offer speeds from 256/128 to 4096/512 kbps, according to Chitchai Nantapat, director of home and consumer solutions and high-speed access.
