Jun. 15--Millcreek residents could see real estate taxes rise 5 percent in the coming year if a newly tweaked budget is approved by the school board next week.
The new budget, presented to the board finance committee Monday night, calls for a 2.7 percent increase in the district's expenditures, a slight cut from the 3.08 percent increase pitched in a budget last week.
Tom Pregmon, business manager for the Millcreek School District and architect of the budget said he was pleased with the document's latest, and hopefully final incarnation.
