Jan. 3--Thailand's expanding automobile sector is expected to become more segmented in 2004 to accommodate consumers' demand for a wider range of products.
Chatvithai Tantraporn, general manager for public relations at DaimlerChrysler (Thailand), said the trend toward more variety took off last year following the positive response to the five-door subcompact Honda Jazz.
