Jan. 8--Sahacogen (Chonburi) Plc, a subsidiary of the Saha Group, expects to increase its operating profit to 400 million baht next year after it has begun supplying electricity and steam from its expanded co-generation plant.
Profit is expected to drop slightly to 310 million baht this year from 330 million baht last year.
Operating under the small power producer (SPP) programme, the company will increase its electricity production by 44 Megawatts from the existing 131.8 MW. Construction will start some time this year and completion is expected in October next year.
