Jan. 9--CAT Telecom has demanded that TOT Corporation pay it 10 billion baht in compensation for diluting CAT's holding in Thai Mobile from 42 percent to 5 percent.
However, TOT has countered with an offer of only 528 million baht.
The dispute has again drawn the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Ministry to intervene, by proposing a price of between three billion and four billion baht.
However, both sides refused to budge in a meeting yesterday, according to Kraisorn Pornsuthee, the ministry's deputy permanent secretary.
