Jan. 9--The Bangkok Film Festival 2004 is expected to help attract more international filmmakers to use Thailand as their shooting locations, bringing in some five billion baht, up from three billion baht last year, according to Juthamas Siriwan, governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The second film festival, to be held from Jan 22 to Feb 2, will also become a stage for international film makers, producers and movie stars to meet with Thailand's industry players.
