Jan. 14--WARWICK, R.I. -- An Illinois real-estate investment trust this week is scheduled to announce the purchase of a Route 2 shopping center -- the latest in a series of deals by the Midwest developer for commercial real-estate property in the area.
Rick Fox, a spokesman for Inland Real Estate Group, of Oak Brook, Ill., said the company will pay about $30 million to Eastern Development, of Woburn, Mass., for the Warwick Center shopping center in a deal to close later this week. The center includes Barnes & Noble and Dick's Sporting Goods.
