Feb. 4--Samart I-Mobile (SIM), the mobile handset distribution arm and content provider of Samart Corporation, will sign a 100-million-baht joint-venture deal with Telekom Malaysia and other foreign partners today to expand its content business to Malaysia and regional markets.

The new company, to be named SIM International, is earmarked to become a flagship business under the group's policy to expand to regional markets and make Samart a regional brand.

Samart Corporation president Thavatchai Vilailuck said that today's agreement with the Malaysian partner would be in the form of co-operation in developing content.
