Feb. 3--Phatra Securities has set a year-end target for the Stock Exchange of Thailand at 860 points, with the possibility of breaking 1,000 sometime in the first half.
Supavud Saicheua, managing director of Phatra Securities, said supporting the index would be three "Ps": policies supporting state stimulus from both the monetary and fiscal side, the perception that stocks would outperform bonds, and the performance of listed companies themselves.
