Feb. 3--A synergy of oil, gas and power business activities will be the strong point of Thailand in strengthening its energy hub, say Singaporean oil traders.
Thailand opened its regional energy trading hub at depots in Si Racha and Ko Sichang in Chon Buri last Thursday, challenging regional leader Singapore.
Samuel Own, senior oil trader of ICL Consultant in Singapore, said that if Thailand could develop an integrated energy hub, it could differentiate itself from existing oil trading centres.
