Utilizing Cygnal's CP2101 USB to UART IC, Model ADP-232 helps users transition from RS-232 applications to standard USB 2.0. Designers can maintain desired RS-232 device and plug it into available USB port. Corresponding mounting holes are provided on PCM-2004 USB Hub/Controller to allow for mounting up to 4 ADP-232 devices, adding as many as 4 RS-232 ports to system.
