Feb. 26--Credit-card users, particularly those customers who have accounts with larger banks, face another round of fee increases.

Wachovia Corp. notified customers in their February credit-card statement that the fees for late payments and overextending credit lines for certain accounts would rise by $4 on Monday.

The notification came from MBNA, which issues credit cards for Wachovia. The fees will range from $15 to $39 depending on the outstanding balance in the account. The late fee is applicable on the next business day, which includes Saturday, after the minimum-payment due date has passed.
