Mar. 1--State banks have been urged to accelerate efforts to co-operate in offering "one-stop" credit services to new entrepreneurs, businesses and farmers.
Finance Minister Suchart Jaovisidha last week chaired a teleconference on the issue with employees of the Government Savings Bank, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives and the SME Bank.
Utid Tamwatin, deputy permanent secretary of the Finance Ministry, said the three banks had a combined branch network of 1,200 nationwide.
