Mar. 1--To tap the sharp rise in popularity of spa and Thai traditional massage services, many entrepreneurs have jumped on the bandwagon and outlets of all sizes and grades can be found practically everywhere in Bangkok -- along main streets, in sois, at shopping malls -- in addition to their usual locations at hotels and resorts.
Though the supply seems overwhelming, the demand for Thai traditional massage services remains huge, as consumers grow increasingly concerned about their health.
Getting started is a piece of cake -- just take a massage training course and you're ready to go. Or so people believe.
