Mar. 1--The government is initiating several measures including a more attractive investment promotion package in three provinces in the South, hoping that economic development could help end the current spate of violence in the region.
Investment incentives from such agencies as the Board of Investment, Finance Ministry and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) are included in the package aimed to boost the economies of Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani.
