Thai Partnership to Provide Lower-Cost Broadband Access.

Mar. 1--TOT Corporation has joined with four private companies to provide broadband Internet service for 490 baht per month.
The companies are Advanced Data Networks, United Broadband Technology, Lenso DataCom, and Samart Communication Service. TOT aims to service one million ports within six months.
A TOT executive said the plan was in line with the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Ministry's policy to provide low-cost Internet access to the general public.
