Mar. 2--PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) will begin oil exploration in Oman in the third quarter of this year and establish its presence in North Africa through a joint agreement with PetroVietnam early next year.

The sole Thai oil explorer and producer will also diversify its investment in Indonesia to include electricity generation, in addition to oil production.
