Mar. 2--BAFS EXPECTS 6 PERCENT SALES RISE THIS YEAR: Bangkok Aviation Fuel Service Plc (Bafs) forecasts that its sales volume will grow by 6 percent this year in line with the expected growth of the aviation and tourism sector, according to M.R. Supadis Diskul, managing director.
He said the company expected demand for aircraft fuelling services to rise by 6 percent this year, up from average fuel demand of 9.57 million litres per day last year.
The fuel demand would rise because Thai Airways International, Bafs' major customer, planned to increase the number of its flights by 15 percent this year.
