Mar. 4--Large-scale retail operators are urging the Interior Ministry to revise its zoning regulations requiring hypermarkets to be located at least 15km from the commercial centres of provincial towns.
Regulations which came into effect last September have boosted the fortunes of convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and led to unfair competition in the retail business, they said.
