Mar. 4--The fanfare continued Wednesday inside Montgomery's newest Dillard's store as the retailer ushered in its first official day of business with seminars, clowns, giveaways and a healthy stream of curious consumers.
The department store's automatic doors officially slid open at The Shoppes at EastChase at around 10 a.m., ushering in visitors for a day of music, special events and store giveaways.
"So far, I think it's nice," said Shirley Brannan, a Wetumpka resident, as she strolled through the store with her husband, Don.
