Mar. 5--Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Plc (Stecon) expects to double its sales to ten billion baht and net profit to one billion baht this year. The construction company aims to win at least a 2.5 percent share of the government's low-risk infrastructure projects totalling 900 billion baht.

About 85 percent of the projects the company has its eyes on this year will come from government bids, expected to be worth 36 billion baht, said president Anutin Charnvirakul.
