Autaugaville, Ga., Gets New Cable TV Provider.

Mar. 25--Autaugaville residents who want their MTV -- or other cable programming -- are in luck thanks to a new cable company that last week bought out Com-Link, the previous cable provider.

New Wave Communications bought the hardware and franchise that Com-Link Inc. left behind when its 15-year contract with Autaugaville expired March 5.

"We have a good outlet for it. I hate to see any kind of business fold," Rick Brown, manager and co-owner of New Wave Communications said. "I think cable in Autaugaville will help the town and the people."
