Mar. 19--SELMA -- Officials of a Michigan-based plant that makes molded automotive seating announced plans Thursday to hire 120 workers to manufacture components for cars and sport utility vehicles that will be made at Hyundai Motor Co.'s $1 billion plant in Montgomery.
Renosol Corp. will occupy a building being completed at the Craig Field Industrial Park just outside Selma.
"We have said all along that Hyundai has expressed an interest in Selma and today's announcement will result in direct benefits for our community," Selma Mayor James Perkins Jr. said. "This is what we call the proof in the pudding."
