If you're worried about peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth, you've got more to fear than ever before. After more than three-quarters of a century of selling its product only as peanut butter, Skippy is expanding into snack foods.
They're called Skippy Snack Bars, and they're being shipped nationally now and are expected to be on supermarket shelves by the end of the month.
Depending on the success of this brand extension, arachibutyrophobiacs -- pronounced i-ra-ki-bu-ti-ro-PHO-bi-acs -- may have to deal with peanut butter in all sorts of new forms.
