Apr. 3--The Krabi Court has issued an arrest warrant for Ryoichi Sasaki, the president of Toyota Motor Thailand, over charges related to a legal dispute with a Krabi dealership.
The court ruling on Thursday indicated that Mr Sasaki, as the "authorised director" of Toyota Motor Thailand, had failed to follow previous court directives to fulfil car deliveries to Toyota Krabi (1988).
The dealership, owned by Sinprasert Saengsirattanakul, had alleged in its court filing that Toyota Motor Thailand had wrongfully terminated dealership contracts with Toyota Krabi, leading to business losses of three billion baht.
